YOGA AT THE BEACH
Join us for one hour Ashtanga Flow with Francisca. And have the chance to practice with other teachers during the week.
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and energetic practice popularised by K. Pattabhi Jois. Based on the Primary series, we practice an Ashtanga flow sequence in a guided Led class (short form). Strengthening a healthy body through an internal cleaning process. Enjoying pranayama with the ocean. This class is accessible to all levels of experience and a great way to be introduced with Ashtanga. After a few sessions, we already gain the benefits from this wonderful physical and mental practice.
Yin Yoga has its origins in Taoism. It is a contemplative yoga practice, based on acupressure, slower floor postures held for longer periods of time. The practice offers deeper access to areas of the body rich in connective tissues, allowing greater flexibility and relaxation. This is the ideal yoga practice to release overall tension and to dedicate wellness time to ourselves during the day. It is a Qi nourishment for organ health and great complement to the practice of mindfulness meditation.
SESSIONS: Ashtanga Flow Wednesday 10h-11h. Please show up 5 minutes before. The open indoor wellness area provides a view on the ocean and green hills. Bring warm and comfortable clothes on colder days. Bringing your own yoga mat and/or towel is recommended.
